John Reynolds Bartlit beats drums like
nobody's business. Best known as New Mexico's hottest jazz
drummer, but that doesn't even scratch the surface of his
multi-instrumental genius. He's done everything from
percussion with the NM Symphony Orchestra to heavy metal vaudeville
with his brain-child Scumbaag. He even did Scumbaag with
the Philharmonic Orchestra! He has worked with composers such
as John Cage, Lou Harrison and James Tenney. His work here
answers the question of who are you gonna call when you want
a producer/arranger/vocalist/percussionist who is also plays
jaw harp / saw / banjo / electric guitar / bass / glockenspiel
/ beercan / and more then you can even remember? One Man,
John Bartlit!

Daniel Ward is known in New Mexico (and around the world)
as a frighteningly good guitar player. His Flamenco playing
regularly turns audiences inside-out at El Meson in SantaFe
and other venues all over the state. His CD "After
The Storm" is a must hear. Daniel also plays jazz
and electric guitar like a fiend, was a founding member of
Skumbaag, and is an educator at universities and high schools
across the country and internationally. Recording engineer
by day, arranger, producer and gigging musician by night-
but no one knew he was a master whistler until this recording.
Kristen Loree can sing like an angel and croak like a frog.
She is a native New Mexican who has been studying creativity,
performance and vocology her entire life. She has performed
locally and nationally on stage, in concert halls and in film.
She directs plays for children and adults and spends her free
time writing songs. Kristen is an Associate of Fitzmaurice
Voicework has been teaching voice and performance techniques
privately and at UNM for the past 15 years as adjunct and
currently as Assistant Professor. She also works with the
Santa Fe Opera in their Student Produced Opera Program. She
is a founding member and Artistic Coordinator of Sol Arts
a nonprofit community performance collaborative.

Nola Bartlit is ten years old. An Albuquerque Diva, she made
her jazz debut singing with the Bert Dalton Trio, and has
performed in plays, operas, recordings and musicals her entire
life. She is a ukulele player, guitarist, pianist, vocalist,
designer, author and martial artist. Nola enjoys handling
money and pleasing crowds, which she did for 3 years at the
Sol Arts Performance Space.

Hovey Dean Corbin, Jr. is an Albuquerque native. He earned
bachelor's degrees in 1995 in both vocal performance and instrumental
music education (percussion emphasis) from the University
of New Mexico. He is currently Director of Bands at Albuquerque
Academy, entering his fifteenth year teaching band full-time
at the 6-12 independent day school. He regularly performs
with the Sol Calypso Steel Drum Band (founded by his wife
Alexis), with Steven Chavez and the New Mexican Marimba Band,
and occasionally with the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra. He
is also a member of the LINKS! Percussion Ensemble, the Vespus
Marimba Band, and is the electronic xylophonist for Skümbaag,
America's only 20th century heavy metal vaudeville troupe.
His homeschooled family includes daughter Leedy and sons Hovey
Jude and Asher.
Oona Holahan is in 5th grade. Song is her natural state, and
she needs to be reminded not to sing while eating. She knows
more songs then she realizes. Her ukulele career began at
5 years old, and has spread like chicken pox among her friends.

Lyra Holahan was given a musical name and has fulfilled her
destiny as a songster already. She composed her first song
for ukulele and voice at 2, "My Little House…"
